TAC Statement on Firearm Safety

We are exceptionally enthusiastic that you have decided to be part of this great community. If you’re an experienced shooter or new to this world, please understand that we take safety very seriously. We would never ask you to be fearful of your firearms but be respectful of the potential damage if not utilized properly. When using firearms, like any other tool, proper utilization and care in itself will breed safe handling and manipulation. Take care of your tools and you will naturally become familiar with them. Seek training and continue to improve upon your talents. Train hard and train often. 

5 Firearm safety rules:

1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded, even if ensured to be otherwise.

2. Never point your firearm at anything you’re not willing to shoot or destroy. 

3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you’re up on target with intention to shoot or destroy.

4. Keep your firearm on safe until you’re up on target with intention to shoot or destroy.

5. Know your target’s foreground and background prior to shooting and maintain situational awareness.
